Social Media Campaign

ESG promo campaign

This was a campaign to encourage customers to fill in a survey and to advertise the company ESG credentials.

Challenge

This campaign was initially requested to have a new visual identity, something a bit more casual than most other communications, as the campaign would be conducted across social media and email. It needed to clearly promote the company involvement with One Tree Planted, who work with local people on environmental projects around the world.

Solution

1) Create a distinctive visual identity that works using the corporate brand identity
2) Use clear imagery that represents different projects that One Tree Planted is involved in
3) Ensure that there is a clear CTA, and that text is bold enough to compete against
other imagery on social media whilst remaining legible at mobile sizes

The background

This campaign was run across social media and email, and wanted an eye-catching design with imagery to encourage customers to leave reviews and to also highlight the importance of ESG (environmental and social governance) within the business. The audience could get involved by leaving a review which would commit the business to plant a certain number of trees.

Social media

As this campaign was being run across social media, where there is a lot of competing content, the design needed to be bold and eye-catching. The use of animals on social media also draws attention. The campaign used the brand colours and fonts, but in a more casual way, as suitable for social media.

I worked with the marketing team to ensure messaging was condensed to give as much information at a glance as possible, given the limited attention and scroll times on these platforms.
